Ecoroses is a boutique florist in Los Angeles with two working studios — one in Glendale, one in North Hollywood — where every bouquet is built by a designer, by hand, on the day it goes out. This is a look inside how that actually works, and why it changes what arrives at the door.
It Starts With the Stems
A beautiful bouquet is decided long before anyone ties a knot. We source farm-direct, which means we choose the varieties ourselves rather than accepting whatever a middleman has on hand. That's how we can work with specific roses — Vendela, Julietta, Explorer, Red Piano — and know exactly what we're getting: head size, petal count, how the bloom will open over the following week.
It also means we can turn stems away. A rose that isn't right doesn't get designed into someone's anniversary. That sounds obvious, but it's only possible when you control your own sourcing instead of assembling from a catalog.
Designed by Hand, Not Assembled
Every Ecoroses arrangement is hand-tied in-studio by a designer who owns the piece from start to finish. That's a different craft than filling a template. A hand-tied bouquet is built in the hand, stem by stem, spiraling outward so each bloom sits at its own height and angle. Done well, the bouquet holds its shape when it's set down, opens gracefully as the days pass, and looks composed from every side — not just the front.
Our named collections — Valentina, Estelle, Solène, Siena — each have a defined palette and structure, but they're made fresh every time, not pulled from a shelf. Two of the same bouquet are siblings, not clones.
Arranged the Day It Ships
Here's the part that matters most and gets talked about least: timing. Your bouquet is arranged the day it goes out for delivery. Not built in advance, not held waiting for an order. That single practice is why our roses reliably hold a vase life of roughly 10 to 14 days with simple care — you're receiving flowers at the beginning of their life, not somewhere in the middle of it.

Two Studios, One City
Two locations isn't a vanity detail — it's delivery coverage. Glendale reaches the eastern and central stretch of Los Angeles; North Hollywood covers the Valley. Between them we cover a wide span of the city, which is what makes same-day delivery realistic rather than aspirational. Order by 5 PM Monday through Saturday, or 4 PM on Sunday, and there's a good chance one of our studios is close to where your flowers are going.
Both studios are real working spaces with real designers in them. You can walk in, talk through an idea, and watch it get built.
Why a Boutique Florist Beats a Wire Service
National wire services are order-routing businesses. You choose a photo, they pass the order to whichever shop in the area accepts it, and neither you nor they know precisely what will be made. The photo is a suggestion.
A boutique florist is the opposite arrangement. We take the order, we source the stems, we design the bouquet, and we stand behind what shows up — one company, one set of hands, one standard.
