The Cutoff: 5 PM Monday–Saturday, 4 PM Sunday
This is the number that matters. Place your order by 5 PM Monday through Saturday, or 4 PM on Sunday, and we'll arrange and deliver it the same day across Los Angeles.
That's later than most people assume, which means you have more room than you think. If it's mid-afternoon and you've just remembered something important, you're very likely still in time. Ordering earlier in the day does give us more flexibility on delivery windows, so if you have the choice, morning is better — but the cutoff is the cutoff, and we work right up to it.
What Happens After You Order
Once your order comes in, it goes to one of our two studios — Glendale or North Hollywood — whichever is closer to the delivery address. A designer builds your bouquet by hand that day, from farm-direct stems. It's then prepared for transport and goes out with our driver.
Because we design in our own studios rather than routing your order to an unknown shop, a same-day bouquet gets the same hands and the same standard as one ordered a week ahead. Nothing is pre-built and held on a shelf waiting for a rush order.
What to Have Ready
Same-day delivery goes smoothly when we have the right details up front. Before you check out, gather:
- The full delivery address — including apartment, suite, or unit number.
- A working phone number for the recipient — this is the single most important field. It's how our driver reaches them if there's any question at the door.
- Access notes — gate codes, building entrances, front-desk instructions, or which door to use.
- Your card message — short and specific beats long and generic.
- Business hours, if you're sending to a workplace — aim to arrive well before the office empties out.
If the Recipient Isn't Home
It happens, and it's rarely a problem. This is exactly why the recipient's phone number matters — our driver can reach them directly to sort out the best option, whether that's leaving the bouquet in a safe, shaded spot, handing it to a front desk or neighbor, or arranging another attempt. Adding a note like “leave with concierge” or “side gate is open” at checkout removes the guesswork entirely.
Ordering Well at the Last Minute
A rushed order doesn't have to look rushed. A few things that help:
- Lean on seasonal blooms. They're at their best right now, which is exactly what you want when there's no time to spare.
- Size up rather than down. A fuller bouquet reads as considered. This is not the moment to economize.
